I am a senior tax accountant at JCCS Helena with experience in individual and pass-through entity taxation, and multi-state tax issues. Formerly a management analyst with the Montana Department of Revenue's Helena field office, my practice focused on research and analysis of state and federal tax laws for program and policy development projects within the Individual and Witholding Tax Bureau. I also assisted department leadership during the legislative process, providing techcnical comments and testimony on proposed state tax bills and was a primary point of contact with internal and external customers providing technical assistance related to individual income tax and pass-through entity issues and policies.
While an employee of the state, I also served as the chair of the Partnership Work Group, a subcommittee of the Multistate Tax Commission's Uniformity Committee.
I currently serve on the MSCPA board of director's, as vice-president for the Helena Chapter of CPAs, and am a current member (former board member) of the American Business Women's Association - Big Sky Chapter.
Outside of work I enjoy camping, hiking, floating the river and spending time with my family. I also dabble in singing with a local band.
